excalibur

Excalibur is the name most widely accepted of the legendary sword of King Arthur, which have been attributed various extraordinary properties throughout the many versions of the myth and the stories that follow. There are several theories about the origin of its name. One of the most widely accepted is that it comes from the Latin Ex Liberatus Shim: Freed from the stone. 

Still, in many writings have been called in different ways and may present name derives from one of these: Caliburn, in the writings of Geoffrey of Monmouth probably derived from the Latin word Chalybs: steel; in ancient Welsh story 'Culhwch and Olwen 'is the name it derives from the Gaelic Caledfwlch old Caladbolg: sword flashing. It is accepted that the name was given by the Anglo-Norman. 

 The most accepted story is that in which Arthur, dying, ordered one of his knights tothrow his sword into the pond in which he lives Nimue, Lady of the Lake. This gentleman, who first disobeyed, then accept the order with great reluctance, is called Griflet, Bedivere, Lancelot or Perceval, according to the story.

When the knight throws the sword into the pool, wearing a white silk hand (Nimue) arises from the water surface, takes the sword and then disappears into the depths. This story about the return of Excalibur to the lake could be based on the customs of some Celtic peoples to throw lakes belongings of the great warriors who had just died as offerings to their gods.It is also said that the sword rests with the King in Avalon awaiting the day of his return.

OUR SUMMER

                                                                                                                                                                 

Hello , we Nuria and Inma and let´s talk about our summer.
We're going to spend this summer in La Antilla.
Our parents have an apartment, immature lives on the second and proteinuria in the third, our parents have imagined to do a duplex to be together.
Before us we viamos only in August but having this summer we will see each duplex 3 months of summer.
 We have many friends in La Antilla, almost all are of Seville least two children that are of Lepe.
Our summer plans are:
-We got always at nine o'clock we had breakfast and set out to study until eleven o'clock, after we get dressed and go to the beach, but we were with our friends on the beach promenade and go from there to the beach together, sometimes we stay and the beach and when we did not stay to eat on the beach we got to eat the three noon and we went down to the pool or beach on the five, then were back with our friends in the maritime pass on the nine and a half and we're all at Oasis a very common where teens go to Islaantilla and La antilla.
 Also this summer in early September we are going to do a trip with our parents to the Ibiza. 
 we transfer to Aguas de Ibiza hotel have a great time and hope that we have never been to Ibiza.
Hopefully we really like it and we move on

CONIL

We have a house in Conil de la Frontera, Cádiz. Conil is a little village near the beach, but lately has grown up for the tourism. There are littles neighborhoods near the village, for example, our house is in one of them. We love Conil because we like the food, especially seafood; and the beach is wonderful.
This village has got interesting things, the Carnival and processions, for example.
To go out, Conil has got discos and pubs like "Aqua" or "Ohjú Club".But we prefer September´s Fair. Last year we went in there and we danced and had fun a lot.
We love cooking, and we do it in Juan´s house because his kitchen is bigger than Julia´s kitchen.
One day, we cooked a special cake: Tiramisú.
First it was delicious but the next day Juan, Julia and theirs brothers had stomachache because the chocolate that we bought was expire.
But not all were good anecdotes and fantastics things.
Two years ago, in a windy day, our family was in the beach. Juan and Julia decided to went swimming in the sea. Suddenly Julia was very far of the shore so Juan went to rescued Julia and we arrived to the shore, she was laughing but she was frightened but only was a horrible adventure.

LA ANTILLA

Hello! We are Belén and Carmen. We go to ``La Antilla´´ at summer. ``La Antilla´´ is a beach of Lepe, Huelva. This beach is very beautiful. When we go, we enjoy very much. At morning, we wake up at half past ten, and we breakfast seen the see in a terraze. Then, we go to the beach with ours friends. There, we swimming in the sea, take the sun and play cards. Sometimes, we eat in the beach to spend time. For evening, we return to house amd we sleeping, see TV... and we go to the beach again. Later, we return to house and we take a shower and preparing to go out: wear, paint... After, we go with our family to eat in restaurant and then, we walk with our friends by the beach. Finally, we return to our house at half past two and sleeping. We loves this beach because is very beautiful!!

MY SUMMER

                                                              

In summer we went to Marbella, Málaga, in the south of Spain. We went all August and two weeks of July.

Our house is in " Los altos de Marbella" the residential neighbour is " Las Dunas". The garden of the house is next to the beach. The house has got four floors, garden, parking and swimming pool. In the first floor there is a living room, kitchen and one bathroom. In the second, there is other living room, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. In the third there is other bedroom and other kitchen and the last floor has got a big bedroom and a terrace.

In the residential neighbour we have got a lot of friends of many cities of Spain: Madrid,Seville,Jaén, Bilbao...Our best friend is Pati, she lives in Toledo and she is fifteen years old.  She´s in the same residential neigbour so we stayed toguether all time. When we didn´t want to go the beach we stayed with her in our pool.

Sometimes, we went to had a snack to other residential like "Las brisas", in this residential there were Patricia, Nacho, Lucía, etc. 

When we went to the beach, we sunbite, swimimming in the sea, play volleyball, and take some photos. We went at 12 o´clock to 2 o´clock and then we went to swimming pool with our friends. Later, we went to our house and we ate. At 5 o´clock aprox we went to the beach to 7 or 8 o´clock, after we went to the swimming pool again to 10 o´clock and then we came house to had a shower, made up, dressed up and  had dinner. After that we met with our friends and we went to the beach or sometimes we went to Pto.Banús. 

When we arrived to Pto.Banús we went to some pubs and some discos depend the day, normaly, we went to the pubs because the discos are more expensive and are for old people.

summer

This year, we are specially impatient about holiday. We are going to go to Amsterdam, Holland. This is a wonderful city, and there are a lot of places to visit there, so we are going to stay in the city for at least ten days.

Then, we are going to go to Rota, to Angelito´s house. In the house there will be a lot of Angelito sister´s friends, so we´ll be very cramped, and we have to be very fast if we want to have a room for us. There we will go to the beach with the Pérez´s, Blanca and Pedro. We´ll also go to the Urta´s fair, the first weekend of august.
