Taormina, a wonderful small village

Hi! We´re Nacho and Pilar and are very tired to study. For this, we will go in summer to Taormina, Sicily. Taormina is a small village in Sicily, an island of Italy. This hamlet is  lovely and wonderful. We will stay in "Villa Sant´ Andrea", a luxury hotel in Mazzaro Bay. This hotel has got its private beach and our terrace is next to the sea. We will remain there from 1st to 6th of July.

We will walk through the central square in Taormina and will taste the most typical food of area in the shop "Le Delizie del Tonno Rosso". The second or third day we will take a boat in our private beach to Isola Bella( in the picture). This small island has got very clean water. It is like to be in the paradise because there aren´t any noises and the sun shines high. There we will swim in the sea and take the sun. For the dinner, we will return to the hotel and we will eat delicious sellfish.

While Nacho visits Etna volcano, Pilar will go to see and buy different things in Taormina streets. During all the travel we will taking photos and go to chic restaurants.The penultimate day we will drive a "Jeep" to Catania to visit the popular Fish Market. Finally, we want to show you a picture of us.

European cup

The European Cup began the eighth of June, with the inaugural ceremony,and the first match of the tournament, in which Polland,one of the organizers of the competition  comes up against Greece.

The group A is formed by Polland, Greece, Russia and  Czech Republic. In this group have qualified Greece and Czech Republic. These national teams have given a surprise to the competition because they are worse than Russia and Polland. But in football everything is possible.
The group B (mortal group) is formed by Germany, Portugal, Holland and Denmark. This group was the most difficult group in the competition. At the end Germany  has demostrated their supperiority winning all the matches. Holland has maked a bad tournament been eliminated with zero points on the first round. Denmark was the worst team in the group but they could win Holland, because in football impossible is nothing.
The group of Spain is group C which is formed by Spain, Italy, Croatia and Eire. Today Spain plays against Croatia some people think that they will draw 2-2 because they both get qualify to the next round. Italy started as one of the favourite to pass but they haven´t win any match up today. Eire is the cinderella of the group and it is probably that they finish with none points.
The group D is formed by France, England, Sweeden and The Ukraine. England and France are the favourites teams in the group but Sweeden and The Ukraine can give the surprise because they have great players as Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Sweeden) or Andrei Shevchenko (The Ukraine). We think that this is the easiest team at the competition.
We think that the final will be Germany-Spain. Obviusly Spain will win.
Mario Gómez and Fernando Torres will be the tops scores.

ICE CREAM

Ice cream  is a frozen dessert usually made from dairy products, such as milk and cream, and often combined with fruits or other ingredients and flavours. The meaning of  "ice cream" varies from one country to another. Phrases such as "sorbet", "gelato" and others are used to distinguish different varieties and styles. In some countries, such as the USA, the phrase "ice cream" applies only to a specific variety ingredients. In other countries, such as Italy and Argentina, one word is used for all variants. 

In the Persian Empire, people would pour grape-juice concentrate over snow and eat this as a treat, especially when the weather was hot. The history of ice cream is one of great change and increases in availability and popularity.

Ana and Mary loves ice creams, above all, chocolate ice cream. They tried to make ice cream one day, but it didn`t work out well. Even so, they had a good and funny time. 

In their opinion, ice cream is the better dessert in summer. Although they sometimes eat ice cream in other seasons. It sounds strange but they think they aren´t the only people that do the same.

EUROCOPA 2012

Last Thursday we went to Las Setas to watched the Spain match. Before that, we went to a shop to bought a Spanish flat and some coca-colas. We arrived to Las Setas at half past seven with some friends like Marta, Pilar, Julia,Ana, etc. During the match, we watched the match in a big screen and at goals everybody shouted and jumped. In there, was a lot of people.
Spain won 4-0 with Ireland. The goals were for Torres(2), Silva and Fábregas. Our favourite football player is Llorente because he is very handsome and play very good.
After the match,  we went to Lourdes´house to had dinner because her parents weren´t in her house. We stayed there to half past twelve.
